The National Rite of Passage Council is a collaboration of Christian Leaders across ethnic and denominational lines who are imagining a day when it is normal for Pastors to invite the Parents of their 12, 13 and 14-year-olds into a journey towards Spiritual, emotional and physical adulthood. Think, an Eagle Scout marrying a Bhat Mitzvah, a Christian Rite of Passage.
In March of 2025 they launched the Aion Path in five states. This is a father-led Rite of Passage journey designed to equip the father to journey alongside their Apprentice (12, 13 or 14 year old son or daughter) as a co-learner. For too long, we have tried to get un-discipled dads to disciple their families. It doesn’t work. With the Aion Path, both dad and Apprentice are being discipled together.
Come and hear the framework and vision to normalize Rites of Passage all across the Christian Church. The cement is still wet for the Aion Path. We will value hearing your input.
